CARIBBEAN STONE COTTAGE
Suffused with light and equipped with a few simple furnishings, Caribbean Stone Cottage becomes your sanctuary. With lovely views of the Caribbean Sea and surrounding islands, it is located atop a hill in Union Island, the southernmost of the Grenadines islands of St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
Built of natural stone and wood, the inside is one large lofty room, both bedroom and living room combined, with the kitchen tucked away at the side. A separate bathroom and clothing storage space complete the house. Spare is the word best employed to describe Caribbean Stone Cottage. This is the place where you throw away all the clutter from your life and get back to basics. Comfortable, yet carefree.
Recently updated, the house boasts all new 100% cotton bedding, plenty of feather pillows and new, locally made furniture. The ambience is serene, with splashes of tropical colours in textiles to give that tropical feeling.
Outside, a spacious porch the width of the house is used for lounging, communing with nature, alfresco dining and simply soaking up the splendour of the area. Caribbean Stone Cottage is set in several acres of garden and rolling grassy knolls. Located on a main road, yet tucked away, you will revel in the island surroundings.
The main village of Clifton is located a 10 minute walk down the hill. Here you will find all your provisioning requirements, bank, restaurants and additional services and products, as well as the lively Clifton Harbour, a favourite anchorage for visiting yachts. Jeep and scooter rentals are available on the island for those who prefer to have transportation at their door. Local buses can be used for trips to and from the village or to beaches and points of interest in Union Island.

Activities
Bathing in the azure sea – snorkeling and SCUBA diving are wonderful here – kiteboarding, day sail trips around islands in the vicinity, lobster BBQs in the Tobago Cays, walking the narrow roads of the island, lazing on the beach or your private terrace, fishing with local fishermen. Or consider the possibility of chartering a yacht for a few days, allowing you to enjoy the sea, with a shore base. Check with Erika’s for bookings, schedules and prices.
Caribbean Stone Cottage Rates
Per week
Winter: 1 Dec – 31 May US$600
Summer: 1 June – 30 November US$450
Minimum rental period: one week
Weekly housekeeping service is included in the above rates. Services include cleaning, laundry of linens and dishwashing. For more frequent housekeeping service, arrangements can be made.
You can order a welcome basket of some basic food supplies, already stowed in the kitchen before your arrival. All linens – for bed and bath are included.
New!! Gourmet meals prepared and stowed in your fridge or freezer, awaiting your arrival. Don’t worry about shopping or cooking the first day – or any day. Erika’s will look after everything for you. Choose from our list of starters and main courses, let us know how many servings of each you require, and we will do the rest. Make this a true holiday.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm booking.
Our rates are based on payment by direct bank ‘wire’ transfer.
For credit card payments – Visa & Mastercard – please note there is a 5% surcharge on card payments. You can email &/or call us with your credit card details for security. Alternatively, for a wire transfer we will provide the necessary account details.
In the event of a cancellation up to two months prior to the rental we would refund all but 10% of the overall rental fee. The full payment is required 2 months prior to the rental. Within 2 months this is deemed non-refundable but at this stage we would be happy to credit the amount against a further booking for the same property. This credit must be used within a 2 year period.
