Cavale Plan

The trips:

Cavale travels throughout a large portion of the Caribbean, from the Virgin Islands in the north to Bonaire in the south, with St. Maarten, Martinique, St. Vincent and Grenada as boarding points in between. There are several itineraries available depending where you board the yacht. Contact us for advice and assistance in transportation to any of these points.

Marcel and Gladys will make your stay on Cavale a most memorable one. Once you board Cavale, you can discuss the itinerary with them and decide how and where you would like to spend your time. With the aid of their experience, coupled with your wishes, you will develop an itinerary that suits you and is realistic for the length of time you have onboard. Apart from sailing, there are many other activities to enjoy in the Caribbean. Explore some of our beautiful islands by foot, bicycle or jeep.  Snorkel and dive in the crystal clear waters. Stretch out on a white sand beach.  Sample some local foods in restaurants and enjoy the local rum concoctions.

Accommodation:
Cavale's two spacious guest cabins are located forward. Through the use of large hatches, the interior space is airy and bright. Each cabin has its own private head and shower, allowing for utter privacy when onboard. Crew accommodation and access are forward.

The well appointed galley is capable of serving up superb meals, prepared by Gladys.

On deck, you will find comfortable spots on the teak deck, both shaded and sunny, for relaxing, island-watching and sipping a cool drink. Dining takes place in the large, cushioned cockpit shaded by the bimini.

The crew:
Your captain, Marcel, once a French sculptor in Paris, began his charter career in the Mediterranean. When he and First Mate, Gladys, arrived in the Caribbean over fifteen years ago, they discovered these waters aboard their custom wooden yacht. Now aboard the modern and comfortable Cavale, they share their thorough knowledge of these exotic latitudes as US Coastguard licensed captains.

Marcel loves to share his skills with his guests. His patience for teaching beginners makes a variety of water sports both accessible and fun. He knows the premier spots for snorkeling, underwater photography and wind surfing. Or let him guide you to a remote anchorage with a perfect sunset and dinner under the stars. Your professional charter crew will guide you beneath the Caribbean's exotic surface to its underlying richness.

Gladys loves to cook. So she combines this with secrets gathered around the globe to both entertain and delight at every meal. Experience gourmet dining each evening in the grand salon or amidst island breezes. Gladys' meal preparation considers any dietary restriction without the sacrifice of savory culinary treats. French wines complement evening dining.
