The yacht: Nùsa Dùa is a 14 metre catamaran which carries up to 6 guests. She is a beautiful, light filled, spacious yacht. The large roof structure shelters an American kitchen and an open area that easily accommodates 8 people around the table. Two interior levels allow for large, comfortable cabins. Heads and showers are complete with hot water. The extraordinary number of windows and hatches guarantee good ventilation, optimal for those warm summer nights. Her width of 7.5 metres over two hulls gives stable, yet fast passage through the Caribbean waters. Nùsa Dùa sails at almost twice the speed of other yachts, allowing you to cover more area and see more of the region in less time.Onboard you will find her charming owner/skipper, Pierre, who will guide you on your sailing trip. Take 7 or 10 days to discover these delightful islands, many of which are not inhabited. Just you and your friends or family will be onboard, guaranteeing privacy and freedom. Begin in Martinique – or Union Island – it’s your choice. Spend a day in Bequia, enjoying the local crafts, chill out in the world famous Tobago Cays Marine Park, where you will see nothing but turquoise water, sun drenched beaches and some of the best diving and snorkeling in the world. Visit St. Lucia and enjoy the bustle of Martinique. Take a break in Union Island and see how an authentic Caribbean island has fun. Pierre’s knowledge of this area will allow you to fully appreciate the nuances of this region. He will recommend the route that will make the most of the time you have aboard. In July, 2006, Nùsa Dùa will be in Polynesia, staying in that region for one year. It would be a wonderful opportunity to experience the thrill of sailing in the South Pacific. Accommodation: There are 3 double cabins, and 1 triple cabin –convenient for a couple with a small child or infant – 3 heads with showers, each with running hot water. The salon is beautifully spacious, due to the nature of the catamaran. Loads of deck space for lapping up the sun and feeling the sea breeze while under sail or at anchor. The crew: Pierre, owner and skipper, is an experienced sailor and diver. He is happy to share his knowledge of the sea and different varieties of fish. Amenities: LCD screen, video player, video recorder, stereo system, Iridium telephone, fax and internet are onboard to make your trip more enjoyable, 3 surfboards, freezer, fridge, water maker which allows complete independence. Price per day Skipper only, (self catering) US$500 per day for the yacht. A 50% deposit is requested when confirmation is made, the balance before boarding the yacht. Our rates are based on payment by direct bank ‘wire’ transfer. For credit card payments - Visa & Mastercard - please note there is a 5% surcharge on card payments. You can email &/or call us with your credit card details for security. Alternatively, for a wire transfer we will provide the necessary account details. For self catering charters, Pierre can provision the yacht (at cost) before you arrive, though shopping in the islands can be fun and he is happy to guide you. He also assists with the cooking, although not taking full responsibility for it. If you would like a hostess on board to handle the cooking, there is an additional charge.
