The Trips – Sample Itinerary for 7 Days:

Arrival Day - On your arrival to Bequia you will be greeted by an Octopus representative for the short transfer to the yacht where welcome drinks and canapés will be served. Enjoy an evening onboard or ashore dining under the stars.

Day 1 - After a comprehensive boat briefing, set sail from Admiralty Bay for the short 1½ hour hop to Mustique. Tour this exclusive island by foot, taxi or horseback past the homes of the rich and famous. Keep an eye out for celebrity residents at Basil's Bar or take a swim off the secluded beaches of Macaroni or Sandy Bay. Step back a century and take afternoon tea at the Cotton House Hotel, an elegant haven.

Day 2 - Set off for Mayreau, a 3½ hour sail from Mustique. Untouched, uncrowded and only accessible by boat, the island is rimmed by magnificent sweeping white sandy beaches. From the perfect beach at Saltwhistle Bay it's a short walk to the hilltop to the local village with friendly bars and restaurants and a spectacular view of the Grenadines.

Day 3 - Sail to the  beautiful Tobago Cays. The second largest horseshoe reef in the world, that protects the five deserted islets, with their dazzling palm studded shorelines. Tobago Cays is a National Park and offers amazing diving, snorkelling and marine life, along with uninhabited islands, white sand beaches, swimming with turtles and stunning crystal clear water. Enjoy a quiet evening in the Cays with a BBQ on board.

Day 4 - Petit St Vincent is one of the Grenadines’ most enchanting hideaways. On the island there are no telephones or television, creating the perfect place for solitude. From Petit St. Vincent take the tender to Morpion for snorkelling and lunch. The ultimate desert island, 20 metres long, fine white sand with nothing but a thatched umbrella in the middle. From here spend the late afternoon and evening anchored off Petit St. Vincent or exploring Union Island with its almost vertical mountains.

Day 5 - Set in the middle of the Grenadines archipelago, Canouan is an island of only 3  square miles with the highest point being Mount Royal. A barrier reef runs along the Atlantic side of the island. Enjoy exploring this former island of farmers and fishermen. Overnight here with dinner and cocktails under the stars.

Day 6 - Enjoy a  four or five hour sail back to Bequia and moor in Admiralty Bay. Take in an island tour, visit the local craft shops and market for any gifts or souvenirs or just laze on one of  Bequia's stunning beaches. You have the choice of dining onboard or ashore in one of the many colourful restaurants in Port Elizabeth.

Departure Day - After breakfast, an Octopus representative will accompany you on your transfer to the airport or ferry.
As you can imagine, this itinerary can be changed to suit your wishes - it is your vacation!

The crew:
Claire Tabor discovered her love for the sea while working on cruise liners. She found a passion for scuba diving whilst in Mexico and decided that a life on or in the sea was for her. She became a P.A.D.I divemaster, also a RYA winsdurfing, dinghy sailing and kayak instructor and worked around the world for a few years in beach resorts and on motor and sailing yachts before becoming a Yachtmaster Offshore (Commercially Endorsed) and Cruising Instructor. She loves to share her knowledge and teach people to sail, windsurf or to dive and to help them discover a whole new world in the ocean and hope that they will fall in love with it just like she has.

Paul Dakin has always had a passion for water and especially the ocean. He has been windsurfing since the age of 8 and continued his love of the water by becoming a watersports instructor. Teaching windsurfing, sailing and kayaking, he progressed on to larger yachts and is a Commercially Endorsed MCA/RYA Master of Yachts Offshore 200gt. He is also a RYA cruising instructor and loves getting adults as well as the children involved in sailing and watersports, so they too can experience the beauty of the sea.

Claire and Paul are both originally from England but have lived and worked all over the world including Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.
