Yann 1

The trips:
YANN 1 is based in Dominica and sails the Caribbean Sea throughout the Leeward and Windward islands. She can meet you anywhere within this region. Ask about one-way trips too.

For the duration of your charter with YANN 1, the boat is yours alone. The captain knows the areas in which you will be sailing, the many entertainments and activities available at the various stopping points, and can advise on the sailing plan to maximize your vacation.

Itineraries are planned when you arrive, so that guests' desires are catered to. Swimming, snorkeling, diving and land based activities can be included in your trip. There is no rigid schedule, YANN 1 runs on island time!

Enjoy sailing the warm, clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Watch the sunset, sit back and watch the stars. YANN 1 will give you a vacation to remember for the rest of your life.

Accommodation:
The interior is very well ventilated; AC is not needed! There are two cabins aft (one in each hull) with large queen sized beds. (Standard queen sheets are too small). These cabins have ensuite bathrooms. Forward on the starboard side is another guest cabin with a double bed; it shares starboard bathroom.

A unique feature of the accommodation for a yacht this size is that there is plenty of headroom above the beds.

All cabins have hanging lockers and plenty of storage space, but please do not bring hard suitcases.

Crew shares the bathroom on the port side.

The crew:
You will be accompanied by YANN 1’s owner and skipper, Hervé, who has many years of sailing experience in the Caribbean waters. He speaks French and English. As your guide through these islands, Hervé will provide you with a wealth of information about the area.

Amenities:
Snorkel gear, fishing gear, swim ladder, outside shower, bimini, cd player, music library, king size trampolines, VHF radio, cellphone

Price per week for the yacht is from US$2,350 – enquire, giving number of passengers.

No minimum charter length. During some months, plus Christmas and New Year, the rate is somewhat higher.

This price includes:
• the yacht with captain, fuel and water
• all linens are provided

This price does not include:
• food and beverages
• taxes and clearances
• moorings on buoys or marinas
• transportation to/from the yacht
• any expenses ashore (bars, restaurants, etc..... )
• SCUBA diving – can be arranged by rendezvous
• port fees, cruising permits, park fees
• gratuities

Meals and cook are not included with this yacht. For those who prefer to do their own provisioning, cook when they feel like it and dine ashore the rest of the time, this is the perfect yacht to charter.

It may be possible to obtain the services of a hostess/cook if guests are interested. Enquire for availability and price.
